Introduction to ARIZONA ELITE Introduction to ARIZONA ELITE

The Arizona Elite Girls' Basketball Club is a non-profit organization developed by a group of dedicated volunteers, for the purpose of providing the young female student athlete the necessary basketball, social, and leadership skills necessary to compete at the collegiate level. This skill set is created through our systems of; Skills Training, Team Practice, Tournament Play, Recruiting Assistance, Communications Development, and appropriate Social behavior.

Each fall period, we conduct rigorous tryout sessions for ages 10-13, the Junior Division, and ages 14-17, the Senior Division. Players are selected based upon their athletic performance, their on and off court attitude, and overall dedication to developing their game.

The Junior Division will begin their season in November and carry through the end of May, traveling to eight or nine tournaments both in the state of Arizona and regionally.

The Senior Division begins after the current High School season, usually the first week of March, and continues through the end of July with the month of June off for High School play. The Senior Division will travel more than the Junior Division, and frequently will play in tournaments ranging from Arizona, California, Oregon, and back east.

We have been fortunate to have helped develop 5 high school All-Americans and assisted in close to 100 basketball scholarships to our former players, and with the processes in place, we should continue to provide the female athlete with the best opportunity of making their college basketball dream a reality.
