NCAA CLUB COACHES APPROVAL APPLICATION

IF YOU DO NOT HAVE AN NCAA COACHES APPROVAL NUMBER YOU MAY NOT COACH OR PARTICIPATE AS BENCH PERSONNEL AT THE ARIZONA ELITE SPRING CLASSIC OR ANY OTHER NCAA CERTIFIED EVENT

NCAA approval numbers are good for 2 years. After 2 years you need re-certify yourself by going through the NCAA Summer Coaches Approval Process. For example individuals who went through this process during the summer of 2003 must go through the NCAA Approval process again. Those individuals who received their NCAA approval number in the summer of 2004 do not need to apply again until 2006.

The approval process consists of an application, a criminal background verification, an authorization for release of information and an NCAA rules educational component.

The entire process must be completed online and can be accessed through clicking on the following link: NCAA Coaches Approval Registration and follow all directions given.
